Widowmaker Brewing

Widowmaker started as a passion homebrew project in co-owner Ryan’s basement in 2015. By 2016 Ryan and our other two owners, Colin and Bud decided to go join forces and open a brick and mortar brewery; they signed a lease on 220 Wood Road in Braintree, MA. Following a year long build out, Widowmaker Brewing Co. opened its doors on September 23, 2017.

Since then we’ve grown from a 7 barrel brewhouse with 35 barrels of fermentation space to our current 15 barrel brewhouse with 405 barrels of fermentation space.

Our team is made up of fun-loving, passionate beer people. Out back the production crew works tirelessly to make you the best beer they can; always tinkering with techniques and recipes and striving for that perfect pour. Our tap room team works hard to make sure your visit is the best it can be, whether it’s for beers in the tap room or a quick stop to pick up beer to go. They are always excited to share their beer knowledge with you!
